LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED · LA-GUEST-13 · Version 2.1 · In force from 28 October 2026 · livasta.com/policies/guest/event-categories

This Event Categories, Capacity and Approvals Schedule ("Policy") is issued by LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U52291DC2026PTC473382), registered office at Plot 2, District Centre, Shivaji Place, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi – 110027 ("Livasta", "we", "us"), operator of the Livasta platform at livasta.com and in the Livasta app.

It forms part of, and must be read with, the Staying Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-01), the Party and Event Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-02), and the Livasta Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Guest Protection Policy published on livasta.com. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Staying Guest Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with the Staying Guest Agreement (or, for event bookings, the Party and Event Guest Agreement) on a guest-specific matter, that Agreement prevails.

1. Event categories

CategoryExamplesTypical attendance
IFamily dinner, small birthdayUp to 20
IIAnniversary, baby shower21 – 50
IIICorporate meeting, workshop51 – 100
IVWedding functions, product launch101 – 250
VPremium or high-risk eventsAbove 250, or as Livasta decides

Livasta may place an Event in a higher category because of its risk profile — for example alcohol, live music, late hours, minors attending or a sensitive neighbourhood — whatever the attendance.

2. Maximum Capacity

Capacity is set considering fire-safety norms, the occupancy certificate, building bye-laws, structural safety, municipal rules, housing-society restrictions, parking and how quickly the Property can be evacuated. The lowest of these limits applies, and it is stated in the Booking Confirmation.

3. Enhanced due diligence

Extra checks may be required for luxury Properties, celebrity, political or religious gatherings, corporate conferences, public events, events involving minors or alcohol, and high-value Bookings. They may include video verification, enhanced identity checks, event insurance, a security plan, checks on Vendors, police permissions, background screening where lawful, and an additional deposit.

4. Insurance

Depending on the category, Livasta may require public liability, event cancellation, property damage, equipment or third-party liability insurance, workmen's compensation where staff are employed, or Vendor insurance. Proof must be given before the Event where required.

5. Deposit

Where an Enhanced Security Deposit applies, its amount takes account of the Property's value, the size and category of the Event, the number of Attendees, whether alcohol is served, high-value equipment, the entertainment planned, and previous booking and damage history. Livasta may increase, reduce or waive it based on its risk assessment.

6. Permissions checklist

Depending on the Event, the Organising Guest is responsible for obtaining, for example:

7. Approval timeline

Submit Event Booking requests at least 7 days before the Event (21 days for Categories IV–V) so approvals and checks can be completed. Livasta aims to give its decision within 2 working days of receiving all the information requested.
