LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED · LA-HOST-11 · Version 2.1 · In force from 28 October 2026 · livasta.com/policies/host/data-protection

This Host Data Protection & Guest Privacy Policy ("Policy") is issued by LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U52291DC2026PTC473382), registered office at Plot 2, District Centre, Shivaji Place, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi – 110027 ("Livasta", "we", "us"), operator of the Livasta platform at livasta.com and in the Livasta app.

It forms part of, and must be read with, the Livasta Host Agreement (LA-HOST-01), the Livasta Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Guest Protection Policy published on livasta.com. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Host Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with the Host Agreement on a host-specific matter, the Host Agreement prevails.

1. Guest data you receive

For a confirmed Booking, Livasta shares only what is needed to host the stay: the Guest's name, Booking dates, number of guests, messages, and contact details for coordination. Livasta's own handling of personal data is described in its Privacy Policy (livasta.com/privacy).

2. Rules for using Guest data

  • Use Guest data only to deliver the Booking and meet legal obligations.
  • Share it only with people who need it to host the stay (for example a caretaker or cleaner), and make sure they follow this Policy.
  • Do not sell, publish or disclose Guest data without lawful authority.
  • Do not use it for marketing unless the Guest has separately and expressly agreed.
  • Keep it secure (locked storage, password-protected devices) and delete it when it is no longer needed for the stay or required by law.

3. Identity documents at check-in

  • Collect a Guest's identity details at check-in only where the law requires it (for example a local guest register, or Form C for foreign nationals).
  • Collect only what the law requires. Never ask for an unmasked Aadhaar; a Masked Aadhaar or another valid ID is enough.
  • Do not photograph or copy identity documents unless the law requires a copy; store any copy securely and delete it as soon as the legal retention period ends.

4. Privacy during the stay

Respect the Guest's privacy: follow the camera rules in LA-HOST-07, do not enter without consent except in a genuine emergency, and do not monitor Guests' communications or devices.

5. Data breaches

If Guest data obtained through Livasta is lost, stolen, accessed without authority or disclosed by mistake, tell Livasta at privacy@livasta.com without undue delay (and in any case within 24 hours of becoming aware), and cooperate with any investigation, notification to affected Guests or regulator.

6. Requests from Guests

If a Guest asks you to access, correct or delete their data, or withdraws consent, forward the request to privacy@livasta.com and help Livasta respond within the time the law requires.

7. After a Booking or termination

Delete Guest data you no longer need. When your Host account ends, delete or securely return all Guest data obtained through Livasta, except what the law requires you to keep.
