LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED · LA-HOST-07 · Version 2.1 · In force from 28 October 2026 · livasta.com/policies/host/safety-security
This Safety, Security, Surveillance & Emergency Policy ("Policy") is issued by LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U52291DC2026PTC473382), registered office at Plot 2, District Centre, Shivaji Place, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi – 110027 ("Livasta", "we", "us"), operator of the Livasta platform at livasta.com and in the Livasta app.
It forms part of, and must be read with, the Livasta Host Agreement (LA-HOST-01), the Livasta Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Guest Protection Policy published on livasta.com. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Host Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with the Host Agreement on a host-specific matter, the Host Agreement prevails.
1. Fire and general safety
Where reasonably applicable to the Property, Hosts should have and maintain:
- working smoke detectors;
- a fire extinguisher, checked and in date;
- a first-aid kit;
- emergency lighting and a simple fire-exit plan;
- a gas leak detector where piped or cylinder gas is used, and a carbon monoxide alarm where relevant;
- safe electrical wiring, sockets and appliances;
- secure balconies, railings and stairs, and child-safety measures where children are allowed;
- pool rules and safety equipment where a pool is offered.
2. Emergency information for Guests
Display prominently (and include in the arrival guide): emergency number 112, fire 101, ambulance 108, the nearest hospital and police station, the Host's or caretaker's contact number, and how to turn off water, electricity and gas.
3. Access and keys
- Hand over keys or access codes securely.
- Change access codes, or recover keys, between Guests.
- Do not enter the Property during a stay without the Guest's consent, except in a genuine emergency.
4. Cameras and recording devices
- Never place any camera or recording device in or overlooking bedrooms, bathrooms, changing areas or any other private sleeping area — whether switched on or off.
- Any other camera or recording device (for example at the entrance or outside) must be lawful and clearly disclosed in the Listing before booking, including its location.
- Devices must not record audio where the law prohibits it, and must not be used to monitor Guests where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
- Hidden or undisclosed devices are a serious breach: the Listing will be removed immediately, the account may be terminated and the matter may be reported to the police.
5. Emergencies and incidents
- If anyone is in immediate danger, call 112 first.
- Then tell Livasta support as soon as possible (support@livasta.com, +91 89290 39102) and in any case within 24 hours of a serious incident such as injury, fire, theft, assault, a police matter or significant damage.
- Preserve evidence (photos, videos, messages) and cooperate with Livasta and the authorities.
- Livasta may suspend the Booking, help the Guest relocate, and take action under the Trust & Safety Enforcement Policy (LA-HOST-12).
