LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED · LA-GUEST-08 · Version 2.1 · In force from 28 October 2026 · livasta.com/policies/guest/safety-emergency

This Guest Safety, Security and Emergency Policy ("Policy") is issued by LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U52291DC2026PTC473382), registered office at Plot 2, District Centre, Shivaji Place, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi – 110027 ("Livasta", "we", "us"), operator of the Livasta platform at livasta.com and in the Livasta app.

It forms part of, and must be read with, the Staying Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-01) or, for event bookings, the Party and Event Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-02), and the Livasta Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Guest Protection Policy published on livasta.com. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Staying Guest Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with the Staying Guest Agreement (or, for event bookings, the Party and Event Guest Agreement) on a guest-specific matter, that Agreement prevails.

1. In an emergency

  1. Call the emergency services first: 112 (all emergencies). You can also call 101 (fire) and 108 (ambulance); the women's helpline is 181.
  2. Get everyone to safety and evacuate if needed, following any instructions from the emergency services.
  3. Tell the Host.
  4. Tell Livasta through Support in the app, by phone or WhatsApp (+91 89290 39102).

Where it is safe and lawful, keep evidence (photos, videos, messages) of any accident or crime.

2. Your safety duties

  • Take reasonable care for the safety of yourself, your companions, Visitors, neighbours and the Host's staff.
  • Follow fire-safety procedures, evacuation plans, building rules and safety notices.
  • Never tamper with or disable smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, alarms, emergency lighting or other safety equipment.
  • Do nothing that creates an unreasonable risk of fire, explosion, structural damage, injury or environmental harm.
  • Cooperate with emergency responders, the police, fire and disaster-management authorities and the Host's authorised representatives.

3. Report hazards straight away

Tell the Host (and Livasta if it is serious) immediately about fires, gas or water leaks, electrical faults, structural defects, accidents, criminal or suspicious activity, and medical emergencies.

4. Cameras and recording devices

  • Hosts must disclose any security camera or recording device on the Listing.
  • Cameras or recording devices must never be placed in bedrooms, bathrooms, changing areas or any other place where people expect privacy.
  • If you find an undisclosed or hidden device, leave the area, keep it as it is if safe, take a photo and report it to Livasta immediately. Livasta treats this as a severe issue and may relocate you and give a full refund.
  • Do not disable or remove disclosed security cameras in common or outdoor areas, and do not secretly record the Host, neighbours or other people.

5. Host entry

During your stay the Host may enter only with your consent, in an emergency, for urgent repairs that cannot wait, where the law requires, or as the House Rules state — with reasonable notice except in an emergency. Allow reasonable access for essential maintenance that cannot wait until after check-out.

6. Security of the Property

Lock doors and windows when you go out, keep keys and codes safe, report lost keys or cards at once and report suspicious activity.

7. Pools, balconies and other facilities

Pools, terraces, balconies, gyms and play areas are used at your own risk and under the House Rules. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, especially near water, balconies and stairs.

8. Medical incidents

Livasta or the Host may call the emergency services if they reasonably believe someone needs urgent medical help. Unless the law says otherwise, you are responsible for your own medical costs and insurance. Medical information you choose to share is handled under the Privacy Policy.

9. Your belongings

You are responsible for your belongings. Avoid leaving cash, jewellery, passports, laptops or confidential documents unattended. Neither Livasta nor the Host is responsible for loss, theft or damage to belongings unless caused by the Host's proven negligence or misconduct, or the law says otherwise.

10. Insurance

Livasta does not provide insurance for belongings, medical costs, travel disruption, cancellation or personal liability unless a Listing expressly says so. Consider travel, health, personal-accident and baggage insurance.

11. Reporting incidents to Livasta

Report any incident through Support with your booking reference, what happened, who was involved, any injuries or damage, whether the police or emergency services were involved, and photos or videos. Livasta may suspend a Booking, help with alternative accommodation and take action under LA-GUEST-12.
