LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED · LA-GUEST-06 · Version 2.1 · In force from 28 October 2026 · livasta.com/policies/guest/check-in-check-out
This Check-in, Check-out and Occupancy Policy ("Policy") is issued by LIV ASTA PRIVATE LIMITED (CIN U52291DC2026PTC473382), registered office at Plot 2, District Centre, Shivaji Place, Raja Garden, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi – 110027 ("Livasta", "we", "us"), operator of the Livasta platform at livasta.com and in the Livasta app.
It forms part of, and must be read with, the Staying Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-01) or, for event bookings, the Party and Event Guest Agreement (LA-GUEST-02), and the Livasta Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy and Cancellation, Refund & Guest Protection Policy published on livasta.com. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Staying Guest Agreement. If this Policy conflicts with the Staying Guest Agreement (or, for event bookings, the Party and Event Guest Agreement) on a guest-specific matter, that Agreement prevails.
1. Before you arrive
The exact address, directions and arrival instructions are shared after your Booking is confirmed. Check-in happens at the time shown on the Listing or Booking Confirmation. Early check-in is a request, not a right (section 6).
2. At check-in
- Show identification for every adult guest where the Host, local police registration or the law requires it; foreign nationals must provide the details needed for the legal report of their stay (LA-GUEST-15).
- Make sure no payment is outstanding — all charges are paid through Livasta.
- Read the House Rules again; you accepted them at checkout.
- Look round the Property and report any damage, missing items or problems to the Host through the Platform promptly, preferably within a few hours of arriving. Obvious problems not reported may be considered if a damage claim is made later (LA-GUEST-09).
3. Keys and access
Keys, cards, digital-lock codes, QR codes and passwords must be kept confidential, not copied, not shared with anyone outside your Booking, and returned at check-out. Report a lost key or code to the Host at once; replacement costs may be claimed under LA-GUEST-09.
4. When check-in can be refused
The Host may refuse check-in if identity cannot be verified, payment is outstanding, the number of guests is materially above the Booking, forged documents are shown, a guest presents a serious safety risk, or the law requires it. Any refund is decided under LA-GUEST-04. If you are refused check-in and believe it was wrong, contact Livasta support immediately.
5. Who may stay
5.1 Occupancy Limit
The number of overnight guests must never exceed the Occupancy Limit on the Listing. Livasta does not accept a Booking for more guests than the Listing allows.
5.2 Additional Guests
Additional Guests need the Host's approval through the Platform and may cost extra; any extra amount is paid through Livasta. Everyone staying must be disclosed and, where required, verified.
5.3 Visitors
Visitors may come only with the Host's approval where the House Rules require it, during permitted hours, following building security procedures, and may not stay overnight without approval. Visitors have no right to occupy the Property, and the Host may refuse entry to anyone not authorised.
5.4 Children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Bookings must be made by an adult (18 or over).
5.5 No transfer or subletting
You may not transfer the Booking, let others stay instead of you without the Host's approval, sublet the Property or use it commercially.
6. Special requests
You may ask for early check-in, late check-out, accessibility help, a baby cot, extra bedding, parking, pet accommodation (where allowed), housekeeping, transfers or other services. Requests depend on the Host's agreement, availability and feasibility, and may cost extra (paid through Livasta). Asking does not guarantee acceptance.
7. Check-out
- Leave by the check-out time unless the Host has approved a later time.
- Return all keys and access devices and take all your belongings.
- Switch off appliances where appropriate and leave the Property reasonably clean, allowing for ordinary use.
- Tell the Host about any accidental damage.
The Host may inspect the Property after you leave; any claim must follow LA-GUEST-09.
8. Late check-out
Staying beyond check-out without approval may lead to extra charges at the nightly rate, a reasonable late check-out fee shown in advance on the Listing, and compensation for the Host's resulting losses where the law allows. Overstaying never creates a tenancy, lease or any other right to the Property.
9. Lost property
Items left behind may be kept by the Host for a reasonable time — at least 30 days — and returned at your cost for handling and shipping. Unclaimed items may then be disposed of as the law allows. Avoid leaving cash, jewellery, passports or other valuables unattended; neither Livasta nor the Host is responsible for loss of belongings unless caused by the Host's proven negligence or misconduct, or the law says otherwise.
10. Long stays (28 nights or more)
Long stays follow the long-stay terms shown at checkout (LA-GUEST-04, section 12). A long stay is a licence to occupy for the Booking Period and does not create a tenancy or lease.
11. Slot Bookings
For Slot Bookings, arrive and leave within the booked hours; no overnight stay is included unless booked separately.
